4/18/08 - America's Next Top PCG Reviewer: Your Top 12 Announced!

SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, CA (PCG NEWS) -- After months of anticipation, PC Gamer has finally chosen who will be moving forward in its America's Next Top PC Gamer Reviewer competition.

"We had to make some extremely difficult choices," says Chuck Osborn, the magazine's senior executive editor. "I was totally unprepared for the volume and high quality of the submissions we received."

In the first stage of the competition, prospective reviewers were asked to write a 150-word review of the casual game Peggle. PC Gamer estimates that it received around 200 submissions.

"Today, after many weeks of delays and excuses from yours truly, I am very pleased to announce the finalists," Osborn adds. "America...[extended pause]...this is your Top 12!"
