Gaming News Details4/23/08- Jedi Knight: The FMVs
by Chris "Pip the Intern" Holt Greetings, citizens. For this edition of PC FMV LOL, our series on computer game FMVs, I’m looking at Jedi Knight: Dark Forces II. Many of you readers have kindly shared some of your suggestions, and I encourage you to keep sending me requests at cholt@futureus.com. Keep in mind that I’m reviewing the games based solely on the movies, so feel free to suggest both popular and unpopular franchises. Jedi Knight is the sequel to the Star Wars FPS Dark Forces. LucasArts put a lot of resources into Jedi Knight, including the first live action light saber battle to be filmed since Return of the Jedi. The opening video depicts seven Dark Jedi as they taunt a very miffed Jedi Master named Rahn. We’re introduced to the head Dark Jedi, Jerec, who possesses tattoos that make him resemble a ventriloquist dummy. His talks with a snake-like lisp and has an uncanny resemblance to Sam Neill, of Jurassic Park and Event Horizon fame.
