New Rift 1.7 Patch Provides Endgame Loot, Wedding Bells

A new content patch is like manna from heaven for any dedicated MMO fan, and Rift’s forthcoming Patch 1.7 is no different. Hardcore players will no doubt be champing at the bit to play through the new Master Mode dungeon and the re-done Expert dungeon encounters, but Trion Worlds’s update should provide fun for all. The patch promises “improved loot for endgame Ascended,” an improved PVP system, and a brand new two “Undead Adventure,” the River of Souls Chronicle.

Most intriguing is the introduction of new “Ascended Weddings,” perhaps inspired by this story, of a high-profile in-game wedding sanctioned by the devs. Love is in the (virtual) air!
