The Secret World Devs Answer Questions About The Story

I’ll admit that I’m skeptical about The Secret World. I kind of think the no player death thing is stupid, largely because their reason for implementing it is to make the game feel more set in the real world. You know, the one we live in, in which people totally die all the time? Yeah.

But who knows, it could end up being good. It certainly looks cool, which is why I’m kind of finding the Facebook Q&A the makers of The Secret World held yesterday on Facebook something of a blast. The devs revealed some interesting tibits about gameplay and story. “Very early in the game, the player follows a trail of Illuminati surveillance cameras through the city. Later the player will be able to access a computer which allows them to view live feeds of the city streets through those very cameras.” That is, I admit, kind of cool.

There’s plenty more. If you want to see what was asked, and how they answered, you’ll need to like the page. But once you do, you’ll have instant access to the content. So, have at it. And let us know what you think about this thing in comments.
